This presentation explores the need for Internet safety education in middle schools, current and upcoming online safety legislation, and options for delivering effective Internet safety curriculum in overtaxed schools.

We need to get much more out of our walk-throughs and formal observations, but it takes better tools and a coaching approach to post-observation conversations. This session offers simple data-gathering techniques and a set of principles for how to use conferencing to improve how teachers plan for an execute middle school instruction.
