Ross Burkhardt

Ross Burkhardt, a past National Middle School Association President, taught young adolescents for 35 years. A committed middle level advocate, Ross was inducted into the National Teachers Hall of Fame in 1998. Ross is a well known presenter who provides real life solutions in an engaging and entertaining way. Mr. Burkhardt is the author of Writing for Real: Strategies for Engaging Adolescent Writers (2003) and Using Poetry in the Classroom: Engaging Students in Learning (2006).
