New Secretary of Education. NMSA congratulates Chicago school chief Arne Duncan for being nominated as the next U.S. Secretary of Education. The selection of a leader who is committed to improving education for all students and ensuring that they are prepared to succeed in the 21st century forecasts positive movement for our nation's schools. NMSA looks forward to working with Arne Duncan to ensure that middle level schools make a positive impact on students' lives.
